Reading University Launces Master's Scholarships Scheme
19 January 2021
The University of Reading announced the launch of Master's Scholarship Scheme 2021! The aim of the scheme is to support high performing and ambitious students with the cost of studying abroad.
The scheme offers two types of awards:
- General Scholarships: all students and courses are eligible to apply
- Subject Scholarships: extra awards funded by specific academic Schools.
The University also has a number of donor awards funded through the generosity of outside organisations, some of which the University co-funds. A number of these scholarships cover the entire cost of tuition and living expenses.
The process to apply is simple – first students must apply for their preferred master’s degree and should their application be successful, the university will contact them regarding the University managed scholarships they're eligible to apply for.
Where funding opportunities pay a contribution towards the cost of study (typically a portion of tuition fees) students can often apply for more than one award and multiple scholarships can be held, as long as they do not exceed the annual cost of tuition for the course the student intends to study when combined.
