Glasgow Caledonian University – GREAT Scholarships 2025 –  Indonesia, Kenya & Malaysia

In partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, Glasgow Caledonian University is offering 3 scholarships to students from Indonesia, Kenya & Malaysia applying for one-year postgraduate courses.

The scholarship programme offers financial support of £10,000 to students pursuing one-year postgraduate study in the UK.

The GREAT Scholarships are jointly funded by Glasgow Caledonian University with the UK government’s GREAT Britain Campaign and the British Council.

The scholarship offered are as follows:

£10,000 towards tuition fees for one-year master’s programmes to students from Indonesia, Kenya & Malaysia who will enrol into Glasgow Caledonian University in September 2025.

Application deadline 01 May 2025

Eligibility

The scholarship programme offers financial support of £10,000 to 3 students students pursuing one-year postgraduate study with Glasgow Caledonian University.

Who should apply?

You must meet the criteria below

  • Hold an offer of a place for an eligible postgraduate taught programme September 2025 intake only

  • Be from one of the listed countries above

  • The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit. Candidates must have, or expect to obtain, the overseas equivalent of a UK first-class honours degree

Terms and conditions

You must hold an offer of study and be from one of the countries listed above at GCU beginning September 2025 if coming from Indonesia, Kenya & Malaysia before applying or your application will be rejected

If you are an International student you must be able to cover the balance of your tuition costs and your living costs in line with the UKVI requirements when applying for a Visa

Awards will not be transferred to any other academic session
