Scholarships at University of South Wales

Students who are CAS ready in CAS Shield by May 31st for the September 2025 intake, or, by 31st October for the January/February 2026 intake, will be eligible for an extra £500 scholarship, on top of an existing USW scholarship. This scholarship applies to each year of study. 

How does this work?

• Your student record needs to be CAS ready by May 31st for the September 2025 intake or CAS ready by 31st October for the January/February 2026 intake.

• What does CAS ready mean? You have fully completed CAS Shield with all relevant documents and your deposit has cleared.

• Students who are CAS ready by 31st May for the September 2025 intake will receive an additional £500 scholarship added to their CAS. 

E.G if you have applied for MSc Management with a £2,500 Chancellor’s International Development Scholarship, you will receive a £2,500 scholarship on your offer letter. However, if you receive a CAS by 31st May, the scholarship will be £3,000 instead.

The Early CAS scholarship excludes ACCA courses, MBA Global Advanced Entry, DBA, PhD, MPhil, Masters by Research and any pre-sessional or pathway provider course.

Note that you may also be eligible for an extra Early Payment Discount of £300. In order to qualify for this discount, you must pay the balance of your course fee for the year to the University no later than 14 calendar days after the start date of your course as indicated on your offer letter.
