Reading University announces that EU students with pre-settled status will receive home fees.

Below you can find the list of EU students who will be eligible for Home fees according to Reading University.

- EU applicants who provide evidence that they have the right to live in the UK under the UK
Government's EU Settlement and meet the residency conditions of three years in the UK, EEA, EU
or Switzerland may still be eligible for 'home' fee status
- Applicants from the Republic of Ireland who meet the residency conditions will also be eligible for
‘home’ fee status.
To help us assess your eligibility for ‘home’ fees you will need to send the university the appropriate evidence of
your status:
Irish citizens living in the UK or Republic of Ireland
-Evidence of Irish Nationality (e.g. passport)

Applicants with settled status under the EU settlement scheme
- Evidence of Settled status (usually a screenshot from the Home Office portal along with a ‘share’
code and link so that the university can check status).


EU nationals with pre-settled status under the EU settlement scheme
- Evidence of Pre‐settled status (usually a screenshot from the Home Office portal along with a ‘share
code’ and link so that we can check status)
- Evidence of identity (e.g. passport, EU Identity card)


Family members of EU nationals who have pre‐settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme
- Evidence of Pre‐settled status status (usually a screenshot from the Home Office portal along with a
‘share code’ and link so that we can check status)
-Evidence of identity (e.g. passport, EU Identity card)
-Evidence of family member’s identity (e.g. passport, Identity card)
-Evidence of relationship with the family member (e.g. birth certificate or marriage cert)

Migrant or Frontier workers from the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Switzerland with
pre-settled status or a frontier worker permit
- Evidence of their Pre‐settled status (usually a screenshot from the Home Office portal) or Frontier
permit
- Evidence of identity (e.g. passport, Identity card)
- Evidence that they are a frontier or migrant worker
- Evidence that of residency in the UK, Gibraltar, EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or
Switzerland for at the least the last three years prior to course start (usually confirmation from an
employer or employers).

Family member of a Migrant or Frontier workers from the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway
or Switzerland with pre‐settled status
- Evidence of their Pre‐settled status (usually a screenshot from the Home Office portal) or Frontier
permit
- Evidence of identity (e.g. passport, Identity card)
- Evidence of family member’s identity (e.g. passport, Identity card)
- Evidence of relationship with the family member (e.g. birth certificate or marriage cert)
- Evidence that family member is a frontier or migrant worker
