Swansea University announces Transitional Bursary Scheme for EU Students 2021

Swansea University announced that EU students will be supported during the transition period of Brexit by being eligible for EU Transitional Bursary. The bursary will be awarded as an automatic discount to tuition fees for EU students that join us in September 2021 and will reduce the fees to the same level as UK tuition fees for those that are eligible. This will apply for the duration of their course.
The UK and Welsh Governments have confirmed that EU students commencing their studies at Swansea University in September 2021 will be classified as international students. As such, EU students will no longer be eligible to pay UK fee status or have access to funding through the Student Loans Company.
